Distracted driving is one of the primary causes of fatalities in the United States, and this program shows what can happen when drivers are distracted while driving. This program is meant to educate drivers in an effort to reduce the risk of being involved in automobile crashes, particularly those caused by distracted driving. The ITD Program was developed with the goal of saving lives through awareness and education. You MUST bring your valid certificate of completion of this program to the DL office or third party skills test provider at the time you are administered your driving skills test. Your DPS office has a list of approved course providers, including ours (Virtual Drive of Texas) and will know your certificate is from an approve provider.If you take a driving skills test, you are required to successfully complete one of the following Impact Texas Drivers (ITD) programs and provide proof of completion at the time of your driving skills test. Present your ADE-1317 certificate to your local DPS office as proof that you have taken and passed the written test. Once you complete the final DPS test in our Adult course, there is a place in your login account where you can print your ADE-1317 certificate instantly, or request to have a copy mailed to you. At the end of the six hour online course, you take the actual DPS written test inside the course.
